Samantha Ihle

Joining MW Steele Group in 2023, Samantha brings an interdisciplinary approach to her project teams as a designer with experience in architecture, planning, and historic preservation. She believes in the transformative power of design to shape identity, celebrate culture, and foster growth in communities.  Her academic career focused on the social impacts of design, and after graduating and working in the DC area, she broadened her perspective on the connection between design, history, and development through her work at various historic sites along the east coast.Samantha's work continues to reflect a deep commitment to creating places that respect culture while encouraging future innovation. She strives to promote a philosophy which enhances both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the built environment.  Her approach bridges tradition with modernity, aiming to leave a lasting impact on the spaces she designs and the people who inhabit them.  Samantha’s unique combination of disciplines allows her to view projects though multiple lenses, always with a focus on how design can promote vibrant and lasting communities.
