San Diego, CA (September 11, 2017) - The University of San Diego Master Campus Plan Update was unanimously approved by the San Diego City Council.  The Plan is a comprehensive update of the 1996 USD Master Plan and Design Guidelines and provides a framework for development of the 108-acre University for the next 15-20 years.


M.W. Steele Group served as the lead planning consultant and provided the following deliverables:

  • Developed space planning strategies to help the University meet projected growth
  • Developed a plan and set of design guidelines for the campus
  • Processed a Conditional Use Permit with the City of San Diego to allow up to 10,000 On-Campus FTE students
