In partnership with Project New Village, Good Food District Hub's goal is to make positive changes to individual lives, community, and the systems that sculpt the future of the historically neglected neighborhoods in Greater Southeastern San Diego. Envisioned as a hub for this area, the project incorporated affordable senior housing, public market and food court, community kitchen and garden, job training, incubator space and community space. Given today's awareness of racial justice, a project like this is instrumental in dismantling the barriers that keep this community from thriving.
