The Law Library for the California Western School of Law provides the campus with a four-story, 49,000 sf facility to house 140,000 volumes and individual seating for 240 students.
Because the site is relatively small at 12,000 sf and flexibility of interior planning was an important criterion, the building was conceived as an open plan, with the service core organized as a linear element flanking the west property line. Circulation patterns on all floors are similar.
