Michael Paluso Elevated to Principal
We are pleased to announce the promotion of Michael Paluso to Principal. Michael joined our team in 2012 and has quickly advanced within our ranks, becoming an integral part of the management team in 2015. Michael plays a key role in providing technical oversight, managing complex projects of varying sizes. We are proud of his commitment to the work we do and his natural ability to fill an important mentor role to many of our junior staff.
Michael is most proud of his work on the Wesley Palms Retirement Community and Melvin Garb Hillel Center at SDSU. His current M.W. Steele Group projects include: The Salvation Army's Door of Hope, the UCSD Hillel Student Center, and Mariner's Cove, a residential redevelopment project.
New Plans for Diego Velasco
It is with a mixture of sadness and joy that we announce that Principal Diego Velasco will be starting his own planning practice, effective this June. After 12 years as a valuable member of our team, Diego is embarking on an exciting adventure, building Citythinkers.
Diego's talent and hard work over the last decade have been essential to our success, and we will always be grateful to him for that. Although his presence will be missed in the office, we look forward to collaborating with Diego on future planning projects.
We congratulate them and wish them well.
