Since 1983, the most powerful and enduring thing
M.W. Steele Group builds is community.

ORIGIN

As an award-winning architecture & planning firm, M.W. Steele Group’s portfolio reflects a vision built upon our clients’ needs and our extensive experience. With projects based around the world, we are best known for the contextual quality of our work and the level of sensitivity to site evident in each completed project. We are also recognized for design and planning that is simultaneously innovative and based in reality. Our staff of professionals includes architects, certified planners, and urban designers.

"When M.W. Steele Group was founded over thirty years ago, quite a few colleagues perceived us to be going against the grain. Instead of selecting the projects that paid the most, we preferred to choose the projects based on the people who were part of them."

-Mark W. Steele, President and Founder

VISION

VISION

“M.W. Steele Group has been guided by the vision that the buildings we design make an impact on the cities and communities we’ve come to love.”

M.W. Steele Group is centered around the communities our buildings serve, and the talented yet humble architects, planners and staff - all of whom we consider family - that make every project possible.

This counter-intuitive choice of ours, along with choosing to make urban planning integral to our approach rewarded us in many ways we never expected.

We have had the honor of working with like-minded clients and cemented long-term artistic collaborations with not merely influential people, but thoughtful leaders and mavericks. Like us, these clients believe in contextual architecture. They appreciate that they, and the structures they commission, are part of something greater than themselves and understand that planning and architecture can work to reinforce this concept.
